New officers elected on Gage County Planning and Zoning Commission

Top leadership position changes, for 2024

BEATRICE – New officers have been elected to the Gage County Planning Commission.

James Lenners, of rural Adams was selected Chairman of the commission on a 5-2 vote over the past year’s Chairman Jeff Argo, of rural Wymore.

There were also two nominees for the Vice-Chairman position.  Derrick Damrow, of rural Beatrice was elected Vice-Chair…also on a 5-2 vote over Wade Thornburgh, of rural Pickrell.

The selection of board officers for the seven-member commission had been delayed a month because the commission’s meeting was canceled by January snowstorms.
