Norris tops Beatrice in subdistrict final

FIRTH, NE - Beatrice fell to Norris in the subdistrict final on Thursday night.

The Titans jumped out to an early 12-0 lead and did not look back, topping the Orangemen 79-43.

Sophomore Chris Garner Jr. scored the games first six points, part of a 14-point effort, while Norris was led in scoring by Barrett Boesiger with 20 - Boesiger four triples in a row in the third quarter, as Norris went 8/15 from deep in the ball game. Beatrice was led in scoring by Treyson Russell with a career high 17 in the loss, but he did hit a three-quarter court buzzer beater to end the first quarter, banking it in off the backboard glass.

Beatrice falls to 10-13 on the year.
