Missing inmate found in Lincoln
An inmate that reportedly went missing in September was found and arrested in Lincoln.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- An inmate that reportedly went missing in September was found and arrested in Lincoln.
The Department of Correctional Services said the Lincoln Police Department arrested Ian Eastman on Wednesday. He is being held at the Lancaster County Jail.
According to authorities, Eastman was reported missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln on Sept. 6. when he did not return from his place of employment.
Officials said Eastman was sentenced to zero to 42 months for charges out of Lancaster County. His sentence started on Sept. 14, 2022, for possession of a controlled substance and theft by unlawful taking.
