King's Singers acapella group performing in Marysville Saturday
Saturday night, Marysville, Kansas is hosting the King’s Singers, an acapella group from London, England.
MARYSVILLE, Ks. -- Saturday night, Marysville, Kansas is hosting the King’s Singers, an acapella group from London, England.
The event starts at 7 p.m. at the Marysville High School Auditorium.
The group is beginning their tour of the United States, planning to travel to major cities like Dallas, Houston, and Durham, North Carolina.
The singers are also celebrating 100 years of Disney magic and will open their second act with songs from some of their favorite Disney movies.
Christmas music will be featured as well.
Wayne Kruse, President of the Marshall County Arts Cooperative, is excited that out of any place the group could have picked, they picked a place of 3,500 residents.
“The King’s Singers, they are an acapella group from London, England; they are kicking off their Christmas tour of the United States in Marysville, Kansas," Kruse said. "They are doing a concert called 'When You Wish Upon A Star' Saturday night at 7 o’clock at the Marysville High School Auditorium. If you are ready to get in the Christmas spirit, this is the concert for you. If you are a Disney fan, this is the concert for you. If you enjoy live music and like to support the arts, this is the event for you.”
