Keith W. Weyer

Keith W. Weyer, age 72 of Wymore passed away on November 7, 2023 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He was born on February 14, 1951 in Marysville to Donald and Eva Mae (Tebbutt) Weyer. Keith was a 1969 graduate of Barneston High School and went on to welding school in Milford. On August 6, 1983 he was united in marriage to Angeline Nelson. Keith welded for several companies throughout his career and owned and operated A&W Manufacturing in Wymore until 2003. He then went to work for Ullman Auto Sales where he built trailers. He was a past Wymore City Council member, volunteer firefighter and EMT, softball coach, and member of the Southern Gage Community Pride Group where he served in the community garden. He enjoyed fishing, arrowhead and fossil hunting, and taking his grandkids and kids in the neighborhood for rides in his ranger.
Survivors include his children, Josh (Jessica) Weyer and Jamie (Isaac) Bachmann of Wymore; grandchildren, Delilah and Callen Weyer, and Evelyn, Huxley, and Rosemary Bachmann; siblings, Sherrie (Lynn) Farr, Larry (Louise) Weyer, and Randy (Donita) Weyer; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Angie Weyer.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home with Jon Palmquist officiating. Burial will be at the Blue Springs Cemetery. A family prayer service will begin at 10:15 AM. The funeral service will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person at www.ghchapel.com. The body will lie in state at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wymore-Blue Springs Area Fund for continued park improvements for the community's kids.
