Businesses add more support, to Hannibal Park renovation

City of Beatrice continues to get private donations for sponsorships and naming rights

BEATRICE – The City of Beatrice, working with an Iowa-based sports and recreation consulting firm, has finalized more agreements with local businesses to help fund improvements at Hannibal Park through sponsorships and naming rights.

Jones Group Insurance will contribute $38,500 for ten years to have its name on four scoreboards and three outfield signs.  Members Own Credit Union will contribute $50,000 to have naming rights for ten years on ball field number three, at Hannibal.  Pinpoint Communications, which is doing a fiber communications project in Beatrice, will contribute $6,000 for two outfield signs at the park. 

The city has been working with Sportsman Solutions to generate private support to help upgrade Hannibal Park in the east part of the city….an effort that to this point, has generated private support near $400,000.
