Southeast Community College to renovate Nebraska Hall, at Milford
Project continues college modernization efforts
BEATRICE- Southeast Community College has selected a contractor for a major renovation of Nebraska Hall, on the Milford Campus, which could begin this month.
Hampton Commercial Construction was recommended by college administrators for the $6.77 million project.
SCC Vice President for Public Information Stu Osterthun says the renovation will include a computer lab, study spaces, a security and safety office and a coffee shop on the first floor. The second floor will include business and admissions offices, registration, records and financial aid offices.
The third floor renovation will have an advising center, counseling assistance for students, a testing service, career services office, accommodations offices and offices for campus administrators.
The project is expected to take about a year-a-half to complete….and could be ready for use in late 2024 or early 2025.
