FYI Center in Fairbury will not reopen

FAIRBURY, Neb. -- The FYI Center in Fairbury will not reopen due to a plethora of different problems. 

During a Fairbury City Council meeting Tuesday, a representative of the FYI Center came and gave updates to the council about the current state of the center. 

The problems presented to the council was not having enough workers or volunteers, not having enough funding and some unspecified problems with the building. 

The FYI Center is host to the CASTLE after school program and other programs serving the local youth.
