NASCAR Cup Series adds stop in Iowa in 2024

The NASCAR Cup Series is becoming more local to Nebraska in 2024.

NEBRASKA - The NASCAR Cup Series is becoming more local to Nebraska in 2024.

On June 16th, the NASCAR Cup Series will race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA. for the first time. The track is about two hours and thirty minutes east of Omaha. The race is part of a triple-header weekend featuring the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The race is set to take place under the lights, with the green flag flying at 7:00 p.m. central time.
