NSP working overtime during Volleyball Day in Lincoln
Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol will be working overtime to patrol Lincoln during Volleyball Day.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol will be working overtime to patrol Lincoln during Volleyball Day.
NSP said they received a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation – Highway Safety Office to allow troopers to patrol high-traffic roadways in and around Lincoln.
There will also be aerial patrol from the NSP AirWing. NDOT has released reminders for traffic flow entering Lincoln from both the east and west.
The City of Lincoln provided the following information for travel into Lincoln.
- Downtown Construction: N 10th St. from Q St. to R St. will have one lane closed due to building construction.
- Downtown Traffic Notes:
- Stadium Drive west of the stadium will be closed to all vehicle traffic. Passenger drop-off and pick-up is not allowed in front of the Stadium before or after the game. Fans can be dropped off and picked up at 10th St. and Charleston St.
- Fans cannot be dropped off at 12th St. and R St., this area is for shuttle buses only.
- Entrance to the Haymarket from Ninth St. from R St., Q St., and P St. is not allowed 2-1/2 hours prior to the game. Drivers can use N St. to go to the Haymarket and Railyard.
- Q St. from 11th St. to 10th St. and 10th St. from Q St. to T St. will be closed for about one hour after the game and concert ends.
