DORCHESTER, Neb - A pair of southeast Nebraska students came home with the highest honor in a Nebraska Broadcasters Association award category.

The team of  Jacob Cerny and Ariana Tellez received Gold for Best Public Service Announcement - Video in the High School Division at the Nebraska Broadcasters Association’s Pinnacle Awards. The NBA included four high school categories with two divisions each (video and audio) alongside the collegiate and professional awards. The award is the second honor the group has received in recent months as they also took second at the NSAA State Journalism tournament in April. Students are advised by teacher Sandy Severance.
