Malcolm tops DCB for Class C American Legion title

RUSHVILLE, Neb. -- Malcolm closed a strong state tournament with a convincing 6-2 win over DCB in the championship round of the Class C American Legion baseball tournament.

Malcolm went undefeated in the tournament to bring home the crown. DCB would have needed to win twice to pick up the championship.

Malcolm has now won back-to-back titles.

DCB was making its fourth straight championship game appearance.

The two teams have combined to win the past four Class C state tournaments.
