Two arrested after reportedly robbing people at gunpoint in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Two people were arrested after they reportedly used a gun to rob people in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the 1300 block of Trimble St. at 11:50 p.m. on Friday for a reported theft. The victims reported that they were robbed at gunpoint.
According to authorities, LPD officers and the Nebraska State Patrol found and arrested two people in connection to the incident.
One of the people arrested was 28-year-old Shaquille Adams, of Lincoln. He was reportedly arrested for robbery, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The other person arrested was 22-year-old Brittney Williams, of Lincoln. She was reportedly arrested for aiding/abetting robbery.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can call LPD or Crime Stoppers.
