Fairbury Public Library closed until further notice

FAIRBURY, Neb -- A sign on the Fairbury Public Library front door reads "CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE".

According to Fairbury Mayor Spencer Brown "an incident happened over the weekend that requires it to be closed."

The mayor went on to say that they hope to reopen the library to the public on Wednesday.

The Jefferson County Sheriff has yet to comment on the situation.
