County, state and federal law officers seeking bank robbery suspect
Heartland Bank in Geneva robbed of significant amount of cash

GENEVA - Fillmore County law officers continue to investigate the robbery of the Heartland Bank in Geneva, Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Steven Roemmich says a suspect described as a white male, stocky build, about 5’8” tall, partial round chin beard and mustache, wearing black shirt, glasses and a tan/orange ball cap is the suspect in the holdup.
The man walked into Heartland Bank and presented note to a teller asking for money and said, "this is for real give me your money."
He then fled the bank with what law officers describe as a significant amount of cash in a black or dark blue sport utility vehicle....possibly a Chevrolet Traverse last seen at 8th and G streets of Geneva heading westbound on G street towards the west side of Geneva.
The FBI and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s department are investigating the robbery. Persons with information that may aid in the investigation, including the identity of the suspect... are asked to contact the FBI Office in Lincoln, the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, the Nebraska State Patrol or your local law enforcement agency.
