Beatrice baseball third place game postponed due to expected weather

BEATRICE - Beatrice baseball will have to wait a week for their third place game in the 2023 Trailblazer Conference Tournament. 

Due to anticipated weather entering the area on Friday night, expected to last throughout most of the day Saturday, Beatrice's game with Platteview has been postponed. It would have been the third place game for the Trailblazer Conference Tournament, but will now take place next Friday (April 22) as a regularly scheduled matchup, serving as the third place game for the tournament. 

Beatrice and Platteview both lost in the semifinal of the tournament with the Orangemen falling to Wahoo 11-5 and Platteview falling to Malcolm 10-6. 

Beatrice now holds a record of 10-4.
