LINCOLN, Neb. -- Business and political leaders gathered in Lincoln to celebrate free enterprise on Thursday. 

The Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA) held its Free Enterprise Convention at Pinnacle Bank Arena. 

Several companies and local community leaders received awards recognizing their efforts in promoting the Lincoln business community. 

The Awards were handed out by Gov. Jim Pillen. 

The event also had a live auction, which included items such as a puppy, an AR-15, lunch with the governor and Husker Spring Game tickets - raising $1,000 for LIBA.
