Up 3-2 entering the fourth inning, Falls City took advantage of multiple Fairbury errors to put up five runs in the inning to open up an 8-2 lead.

Trailing 9-2 in the fifth, Fairbury got two runs back on a two-run home run from Brendon Runge. It wouldn't be enough, however, as Falls City poured on five more runs before the end of the contest.
