MILFORD, Neb. -- The Nebraska State Patrol arrested a woman from Milford for a hit-and-run crash on I-80.
NSP said they received information that a hit-and-run crash happened on Interstate 80, near mile marker 391, around 12:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Officials said a Sedan was heading east in westbound lanes and it caused a collision between a semi and a Ford Eco Sport. A trooper reportedly found two more vehicles that looked like they had been involved in a crash near mile marker 397.
According to authorities, one of the vehicles involved in the crash near 397 was a Kia Spectra. The Kia was reportedly also in the crash near 391.
Troopers said the driver of the Kia was impaired. The driver of the Kia and the driver of the Ford were both reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
NSP said the driver of the Kia was 34-year-old Heather Teschendorf, of Milford. While at the hospital, Teschendorf reportedly spit on a trooper's face and became physically combative.
According to authorities, Teschendorf was medically cleared and lodged in the Lancaster County Jail. She was charged for driving under the influence, willful reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, assault on a public safety officer with bodily fluid, failure to submit to a pretest, and resisting arrest.
