BLUE SPRINGS, Neb. -- Authorities are investigating a reported cemetery vandalism that happened on a January Sunday in Blue Springs. 

The Gage County Sheriff's Office said they are investigating a reported vandalism incident that happened at Blue Springs Cemetery. 

The Sheriff's Office said that on Sunday, Jan. 19 around 3 p.m., they got a report that a fence and two headstones had been damaged. 

According to deputies, they found that a metal fence had been knocked down and two headstones were pushed over. 

There were vehicle tracks at the location, and the Sheriff's Office said those tracks were seen to be leaving the roadway and entering the cemetery property. 

Gage County Sheriff's Office said that pieces of a grille from the suspected vehicle had been recovered at the scene. 

Authorities ask that if anyone has any information they call Gage County Sheriff's Office or Gage County Crime Stoppers.
