LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 51-year-old Lincoln man was arrested for terroristic threats after a disturbance call.

The Lincoln Police Department said they were called to a disturbance between neighbors Thursday morning around 8:30.

LPD said the caller reported that his upstairs neighbors stomp on the floor and disturb him.

Officers reportedly arrived to the residence and cleared the call a short time later.

Around 9 a.m., LPD said officers were called back to the residence where the caller said as soon as police left, the same neighbor jumped on their floor and broke his light fixture.

LPD said when officers arrived, they spoke with the upstairs neighbors, an 18- and 20-year-old.

Officers with LPD said they were shown a cellphone video of the original caller, Dana Wright, leaving his apartment, yelling at them and approaching them at their open front door while holding a steak knife.

The neighbors reportedly told police they retreated back into their apartment in fear of Wright, who then returned to his apartment.

Wright was taken into custody and lodged in jail for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
