LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 40-year-old man was injured in a Lincoln shooting that reportedly stemmed from an argument.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Old Farm Road around 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 21 for reported gunshots.

Officers said they found a 20-year-old woman, 40-year-old man, and 37-year-old man when they arrived. The woman reportedly brought the two men with her to try and remove items from her shared apartment with 19-year-old Larry Harris.

According to authorities, an argument occurred and Harris allegedly discharged a handgun while inside the apartment. The shot reportedly hit the 40-year-old man in the foot and Harris then fled the scene before officers arrived. The victim was taken to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said they found Harris in the area. They reportedly searched Harris' path of travel and found a backpack with marijuana, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and Glock model 19 handgun inside. The handgun was later determined to be reported stolen out of Topeka, Kan.
