One injured in Lincoln shooting

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 31-year-old was injured in a Friday night Lincoln shooting.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the 900 block of S 11th St. at 7:40 p.m. on Friday for a report of a person that was shot.

Officers said they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can contact LPD or Crime Stoppers.
