Rain to snow transition begins, ice still looms large in southeast Nebraska

FAIRBURY, NE — Wednesday afternoon some in southeast Nebraska are now seeing snow falling instead of rain. The icy conditions still are at the top of mind for many first responders in the area. 

NCN talked with Jefferson and Saline County Emergency Manager John McKee about the hazards the area is facing Wednesday and some of the uncertainty in the forecast moving forward.
