Lincoln laundromat reportedly had money stolen

A laundromat in Lincoln reported that money had been missing from the business.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A laundromat in Lincoln reported that money had been missing from the business.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to Laundry Land, 4831 Normal Blvd., on Sunday at 7:05 a.m. for a reported burglary.

Officers said the employee told them that they had arrived to work and found the back door open. The employee reported that cash was missing.

According to authorities, the officers found a broken bathroom window and they determined that it had been broken with a piece of concrete.

Officials said they looked at the security camera footage and saw that an unknown suspect had reportedly entered the business around 3:40 a.m. The total damage reported was an estimated $100.
