Main Street Beatrice Holiday storefront winners announced

BEATRICE – A holiday display at the Bargain Box in downtown Beatrice is this year’s People’s Choice Award winner in the annual Main Street Beatrice storefront Christmas-season display contest.

Main Street’s theme this year was Santa’s Workshop. Sixteen business locations entered this year’s contest.

Best Representation of Theme Award went to Quilt Stitches.  Gems and Junk won the top honor for Best Non-Themed display.   The award for the Best Use of Business Product went to Security First Bank.  The award in a category named, Best Viewed at Night….goes to Home Instead.

This was the 12^th year of the Main Street Downtown Store Front Display Contest.  The organization saw nearly 500 residents and visitors cast their votes for their favorite displays.
