FAIRBURY, NE — Local and federal authorities combined their efforts to arrest a man with multiple warrants Tuesday. 

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Nick Georgi, 29-year-old Devon Kagy was arrested Tuesday morning in Fairbury. 

Members of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office assisted the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force with the arrest. A news release says the task force received a tip Kagy was hiding a different locations throughout Fairbury. 

He was located and taken into custody outside a home in the 800 block of 8th street. 

Kagy has multiple warrants in Jefferson and Gage Counties, including Delivery and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, Flight to Avoid Arrest, Terroristic Threats and Probation Violations. 

He's now in Gage County Jail. 

In a social media post, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office thanked the public for all the calls and tips that helped lead to Kagy's arrest. 

This is not the first time, Kagy's been arrested this year. He was also arrested in February
