Sheriffs authorities say there were active warrants for an assault and protection order

BEATRICE – A Beatrice man was arrested after being detained at the county courthouse Thursday morning on warrants that were pending for him.

A Gage County Special Services Sergeant detained 41-year-old Jeremy Snyder on warrants for violating a protection order and on a domestic assault that prompted the issuance of the protection order.

Snyder was taken into custody at 8:45 a.m., interviewed by a sheriff’s investigator and then arrested on the warrants and domestic assault.  He was being held at the Gage County Jail.
