Lincoln man reports his vehicle stolen
A man in Lincoln reportedly had his car stolen early Tuesday morning.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man in Lincoln reportedly had his car stolen early Tuesday morning.
The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the 1400 block of Cedar Cove Rd. at 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of five men checking doors and possibly getting into unlocked vehicles in the parking lot.
Officers said they saw two vehicles reportedly leave the area at a high rate of speed. One of the vehicles that had drove off was a 2005 gray Honda Accord with the license plate of WVJ090.
According to authorities, they contacted the 22-year-old man that is registered to the vehicle and he reported that he last saw his car in the parking lot. He also told officers the vehicle was unlocked and he had left the spare key inside. The Accord is valued at $2,000.
