Construction site equipment reportedly stolen in Lincoln

A construction site reported that some of their equipment was stolen over the weekend in Lincoln.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A construction site reported that some of their equipment was stolen over the weekend in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were dispatched to a construction site near 56th St. and O St. on Monday around 10:00 a.m. for a reported theft.

Officers said they talked to the job site supervisor and they reported that a John Deere JD-35 Mini Excavator, estimated at $50,000, had been taken sometime during the weekend. The supervisor also reported that a Kent brand concrete breaker attachment for the machine, estimated at $9,750, had been taken.
