Name released of Lincoln man that died in fatal crash

The name of a man that died in a Friday night motorcycle vs. pickup crash in Lincoln has been released.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The name of a man that died in a Friday night motorcycle vs. pickup crash in Lincoln has been released.

The Lincoln Police Department said they have identified the driver of the motorcycle as 30-year-old Trenten Bankhead of Lincoln.

Officers said the accident took place on Oct. 28 at 7:00 p.m. LPD officers and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were on the scene of N 11th St. and Adams St. for the reported crash. The crash involved a white pickup and a Suzuki motorcycle.

According to authorities, Bankhead was taken to the hospital for his injuries but later died there.

LPD said they extend their condolences to Bankhead's family and friends and ask members of the public
to respect their privacy as they grieve the loss of their loved one.
