Weapons violation leads to two arrests in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man and woman were arrested in Lincoln for a reported weapons violation.
The Lincoln Police Department said officers were dispatched to an address near 16th and W B St. on Oct. 28 at 5:24 p.m. for a report of a weapons violation.
Officers said the caller told them that 51-year-old Willie Parker had shown a handgun and threatened to shoot people before he left area on foot. Police found Parker with 49-year-old April Kohl near SW 17th and W A St.
According to authorities, they found a 9mm handgun from the bag that Kohl had on her.
Parker was arrested for terroristic threats, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing a police officer.
Kohl was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and accessory to a felony.
