After a full day of volleyball district finals across Nebraska, we now know which teams will have a shot for a state championship.

In Class D1, BDS and Meridian have earned a spot in Lincoln.

BDS defeated Johnson-Brock in a sweep Saturday in Shickley in the D1-4 district championship. The Eagles are back in the state tournament for the sixth straight season. They earned D2 state championships in 2018 and 2019.

Last year they lost to Howells-Dodge in the quarterfinals.

Meridian earned a sweep over Elmwood-Murdock in the D1-5 district championship. This is the Mustangs first trip to Lincoln since 2017. That year, Meridian earned the runner-up spot in Class D1.

Diller-Odell is off to state in Class D2. The Griffins held off Exeter-Milligan in a five-set win to get to Lincoln. Diller-Odell continues an impressive streak of making it to state. Since 2014, Diller-Odell has only missed the state tournament once.

They own a D1 championship from 2019 followed by the D2 championship in 2020.

Norris has earned a spot in the Class B state tournament with a sweep of Hastings on Saturday. The Titans are back in Lincoln for the fifth straight season and the 24th time in school history.

Norris has been runners-up in Class B the past two seasons, losing to Omaha Skutt Catholic in the championship game each time.

The 2022 NSAA State Volleyball Tournament begins Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
