Lincoln golf course reports burglary

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Property was found damaged at a golf course in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department said officers were dispatched to the Highlands Golf Course on Oct. 22 around 7:30 p.m. for a reported burglary.
Police said an equipment operator at the golf course found the lock that secured the maintenance road
fence had been allegedly cut. The employee reportedly went to the maintenance shed and saw that a protective metal screen had been pried away from the window and the window shattered.
According to authorities, they searched the shed and saw that no items were missing but they had been moved around. The damage to the lock, screen and window is estimated at $310.
