History Nebraska, Main Street Beatrice tour properties using tax credit

Lawmakers, citizens, History Nebraska, and Main Street Beatrice toured structures in the southeast Nebraska town that have been the beneficiaries of historic tax credit.

BEATRICE - Lawmakers, citizens, History Nebraska, and Main Street Beatrice toured structures in the southeast Nebraska town that have been the beneficiaries of historic tax credit. 

On Monday, the tour began at the Centenary United Methodist Church which has recently been restored and has gone through new scaffolding. Lawmakers such as state senator's Tom Brandt and Myron Dorn were on hand, as well as Sen. Deb Fischer, Beatrice Mayor Stan Wirth, and mayor hopeful Bob Morgan. 

The group also toured The Hevelone Building as well as the Poling Drug Building.
