Pawnee Pothole Pathway to be fixed
County road that serves as access to lake will be resurfaced....work inside park included
By News Channel NebraskaBURCHARD - A recreational access road that's long been in poor condition with numerous potholes, will be seeing improvement. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, October 17 on County Road 615 Avenue in Pawnee County....an access to Burchard Lake State Recreation Area.
Work also will be done inside the recreational area, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Constructors, Inc., of Lincoln, Nebraska, is the contractor for the milling, asphalt overlay and pavement marking. The project extends south from Nebraska Highway 4 on County Road 615 Avenue south to County Road 713 and inside the park.
Traffic will be maintained with pilot cars and flaggers. NDOT says the work is expected to be completed in November.
