LINCOLN, Neb. -- Gunshots were reportedly heard and a victim found bullets in his wall and car in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the 700 block of Peach St. on Oct. 8 around 9:40 p.m. for reported gunshots. A 38-year-old male victim told officers he was sleeping in his home when he heard multiple gunshots.

Officers said the victim reported seeing one of the rounds had came through his front window, through the back of a couch, and into the wall that separates the living room and kitchen. He reportedly checked around his home and found another round hit the trunk of his Hyundai Sedan and was lodged in the rear passenger seat.

According to authorities, 10 spent shell casings were also located 450 ft. north of the victim's home.
