Beatrice logs multiple winners in Nebraska Main Street Excellence Program

Category award winners honored by Beatrice Main Street, during Friday events

BEATRICE – Main Street Beatrice, along with a Nebraska Main Street Network representative held special events Friday to recognize several local winners this past summer in the Nebraska Main Street 2022 Inspiring Excellence Awards competition.

Vintage Venue at 620 Court Street was named a Best Adaptive Reuse Project winner.   Streetscape and Public Improvement project honors went to the Beatrice Mural project near the Holly Theatre and to the Beatrice Mural at 5th and Ella Streets.

 Volunteer of the Year is Dana Hydo.   The Main Street Business of the Year in the competition was Quilt Stitches, at 505 Court Street.

 Recognized with a Main Street honor for new construction project is the Beatrice Fire and Rescue Headquarters.  Best Interior Commercial Improvement went to a business called Clean Slate Soap, at 813 Court.

Main Street Nebraska winners for Façade Improvement Project included the Mercantile Building at 301 Court Street…..and the Public Partner Award went to the Big Give Gage fundraising project.
