One dead in Lincoln car crash

A motorcyclist died in a car crash in Lincoln on Saturday.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A motorcyclist died in a car crash in Lincoln on Saturday.

The Lincoln Police Department said a black Harley Davidson-style motorcycle was reportedly traveling westbound on W O St. around 2:30 p.m.

Officers said witnesses in the area told them that a white Hyundai Sedan was traveling on NW 19th St. and then pulled onto W O St. in front of the motorcycle.

According to authorities, the driver of the motorcycle was a 45-year-old Lincoln man. He was transported to a nearby hospital but eventually succumbed to his injuries.

LPD said they extend their condolences to his family. LPD ask that anyone with additional information, like video evidence, to call their non-emergency number at 402 441-6111 or Crime Stoppers at 402 475-3600.
