BEATRICE - The University of Nebraska-Kearney will be making a stop in southeast Nebraska.

UNK Admissions is hosting a series of events at locations across Nebraska, including Beatrice. The goal of the stop is to connect with area high schoolers and their families and give them an opportunity to learn more about UNK. UNK will be in Beatrice on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Vintage Venue on Court St.

"These informative and engaging events are a great way for students and parents to learn more about the programs and opportunities at UNK," Jodi Holt, Director of Admissions, said. "We're very excited to hit the road next month and meet future Lopers from all regions of the state."

The tour will also include trips to northeast Nebraska, to Norfolk, and a stop in Alliance in the panhandle.
