20 pounds of cocaine found during traffic stop near York

YORK, Neb. -- A California woman was arrested after Nebraska State Patrol troopers found 20 lbs. of suspected cocaine in her vehicle.
NSP said a trooper saw a Ford Expedition following another vehicle too closely while traveling on Interstate 80 near York at 12:35 p.m. on Saturday. The trooper performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and then reportedly became suspicious of criminal activity.
According to authorities, the troopers searched the vehicle and found approximately 20 lbs. of suspected cocaine that was concealed inside the vehicle's seats. The driver was 34-year-old Imelda Ambriz, of Los Angeles, Calif.
Officials said Ambriz was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver and lodged in York County Jail. The York County Sheriff’s Office and York Police Department assisted.
