HEBRON, NE — A southeast Nebraska man is in custody and being charged with multiple felonies in relation to a sexual assault investigation.
25-year-old Brandon Lundholm was arrested earlier this month. According to court documents, he's charged with two counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child, one court of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child and one count of incest.
Monday, he appeared in Thayer County Court and waived his right to a preliminary hearing. The case was bound over to district court.
Court documents state an ex-partner of Lundholm called police in July saying one of her children told her Lundholm had touched her inappropriately.
The woman told police after the relationship between her and Lundholm ended, they came to an agreement that every other weekend Lundholm could visit the children. According to court documents, the woman would leave the house and stays with someone else during Lundholm's visits.
The child was interviewed by the Child Advocacy Center and said Lundholm performed the inappropriate actions on multiple occasions and they told Lundholm no.
According to court documents, police interviewed Lundholm. He did not admit to the accused actions, but court documents say he admitted to unintentionally touching the child inappropriately while visiting.
