Two vehicles allegedly vandalized in Lincoln
Two different victims reported their cars were vandalized on Monday in Lincoln.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Two different victims reported their cars were vandalized on Monday in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department responded to a report of a vandalism at 4:00 p.m. at Holmes Lake Park north shore.
Officers said the 70-year-old victim reported parking at the north shore near the restrooms between 1:45 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. When he returned to his 2018 green Subaru Forester, he saw black spray paint on the rear hatch.
LPD said another report was taken from a 49-year-old victim that parked near the ballfields on the north shore around 2:30 p.m. to go fishing. The victim reportedly said he returned to his 2008 White Ford Explorer and noticed that unknown person(s) had sprayed black spray paint on the rear driver's quarter panel and rear hatch.
According to authorities, the paint did not seem to be any obvious symbol or lettering in either incident.
