Stolen vehicle found on fire in Lincoln

The Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were on the scene of a car on fire.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were on the scene of a car on fire.

LPD said police and firefighters were dispatched to 80th and Myrtle due to a car fire on July 25 at 11:30p.m.

According to authorities, they determined in an investigation that the burned vehicle had been reported stolen on July 24from the 1000 block of Rosewood.

The report said the incident is being investigated as an arson and is ongoing.
