Gunshots heard in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Police Department found caliber casings after reports of gunshots.

LPD said police were dispatched to the 800 block of N 32nd Street after gunshots were reportedly heard on July 23 at 1:27 a.m.'

According to authorities, four spent .40 caliber casings were found at the intersection of N 32nd and Vine Streets.

The report said they did not find any damage to area buildings or vehicles in the area.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Lincoln Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
