LINCOLN, Neb. -- A stolen vehicle from Lincoln has been found in Minneapolis.

LPD said police were dispatched to LAX Auto, 400 W Cornhusker, on June 7 at 9:47 a.m. for a burglary report.

Officers said they discovered one of the overhead doors of the business had been damaged. Police talked to the manager and looked at the business' security system.

The report said the police found an unknown man arrived in a 2007 Ford F250, valued at $15,000, at 4:46 a.m. and backed the truck into the door. This caused the damage to the door and then raised it enough for the man to enter the business.

According to authorities, the man took the keys of a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500, valued at $52,900, that was parked at LAX. He then left and moved the F250 out of the way into a nearby parking lot, where he left it. The man then got into the Silverado and left the area.

Officials said the F250 was discovered to be stolen on June 6 from the Anderson Ford lot, 2500 Wildcat Dr.

According to authorities, the Silverado was found on July 13 in Minneapolis, Minn. The Minneapolis Police said the truck had noticeable gunfire damage.

LPD said they are asking for help from the public in identifying the man found on the security video. Anyone with information can contact police at 402-441-6000 or Lincoln Crime Stoppers at 402-476-3600 or lincolncrimestoppers.com.
