FAIRBURY, NE — A town-focused organization in southeast Nebraska is helping teachers and students get ready for the upcoming school year.

The Fairbury Community Foundation is beginning its annual Back to School Supply Drive. This is the 4th year they've held the drive.

Particularly, organizers say they are looking for cash donations, Clorox wipes and dry erase markers. Anyone wiling to donate any cash or supplies should contact Don Cook at 402-587-1618.

In addition, any supplies can be dropped off at the Jefferson County Veterans Service Office in the lower level of the county courthouse.

The drive lasts through August 10. The supplies will then be taken to the schools.
