Autopsy ordered for man found dead in his home southwest of Lincoln

More details have been released about a suspicious death near Lincoln.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- More details have been released about a suspicious death near Lincoln. 

Lancaster County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the home near Southwest 40th and A Streets around 8 a.m. Monday for a medical emergency. 

The Sheriff's Office said deputies found 78-year-old Gene Oltman dead in his home. 

LSO said there is evidence of physical trauma and an autopsy is set for Tuesday. 

Authorities said Oltman's 68-year-old wife was hospitalized for an unrelated medical condition. 

Authorities got a search warrant for the home and crime scene technicians are on the scene. 

Sheriff Terry Wagner said there are suspicious circumstances, but they've yet to determine if a crime occured.
