Two killed in fatal Lincoln crash have been identified

Lincoln Police have identified the two people killed in a fatal crash Sunday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln Police have identified the two people killed in a fatal crash Sunday night. 

LPD said 20-year-old Emily Siebenhor and 22-year-old Edith Hermosillo were killed in the collision at 52nd and O Street. 

A black Ford was traveling on O Street when it struck a white Toyota that was turning. 

Siebenhor was driving the Toyota and Hermosillo was her passenger. 

After the initial impact, both cars went onto the sidewalk of O Street, hitting multiple people. 

The Ford initially rolled over onto its top, pinning two victims. 

Bystanders moved the car off of the victims. 

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford, and 18-year-old Omahan, suffered only minor injuries. 

One of the bystanders is currently in critical condition. 

LPD said 20 bystanders were injured in total. 

LPD said they "would like to thank the many members of our community who were at the scene and quickly began rendering aid to those involved."

This is an ongoing investigation.
