The Lower Big Blue Natural Resources District (NRD) lifted the ban Tuesday afternoon.
According to a statement, impacted areas include: Wolf Wildcat WMA, Bear Lake WMA, Leisure Lake WMA, Walnut Creek Recreation Area, Cub Creek Recreation Area, Swanton WMA, Willard Meyer Recreation Area, Green Top WMA, Clatonia Recreation Area and Big Indian Recreation Area.
The ban was put into place on April 25.
In the same announcement, the Lower Big Blue NRD released the date and location of its annual youth fishing derby.
It will take place May 21, at the Willard Meyer Recreation Area near Tobias, Neb. The event coincides with Nebraska Game and Parks family fishing day.
Activities include the titular fishing derby, a casting contest, 4-H shooting trailer, Nebraska Game and Parks fishing display, prizes and a free lunch.
