Teachers in Beatrice Public Schools receive foundation grants

Grants from Beatrice Educational Foundation help supplement classroom needs

BEATRICE - Seven Beatrice public school teachers had a visit and learned they had been awarded a 2022 Beatrice Educational Foundation Teacher Grant. The grants totaled $5400.

A $1,000 grant was awarded to Jenny Hoefer for curriculum support at Beatrice Community Preschool.  A $1,000 grant goes to Susan Wait for the PebbleGo program, at Stoddard Elementary.  The foundation granted $1,000 to Morgan Schultz for a shaken baby simulator at Beatrice High School.

$1,000 goes to Natalie Frahm for library material at Lincoln Elementary School.....$500 to Chrisy Strubel for science, technology, engineering and math bins at Lincoln Elementary....$500 to  Brandi Knapp for a doc camera at Paddock Lane Elementary.   The B-E-F also is granting $400 to Beatrice Middle School Science Teachers for lab materials to allow more hands-on activities...and $500 to Ashley Hoffman for a portable dishwasher at Beatrice Middle School.
